Working in Partnership

St. Luke's works in partnership with Christ Church Streatham, other schools, universities, colleges and organisations.

As an NCSL Leadership Development School, the Executive Headteacher supports aspiring Headteachers and mentors and coaches new Headteachers as a Professional Partner. The Executive Headteacher supports other schools with school improvement as a Lambeth Leadership Partner.

Since January 2013 St. Luke's has been working in partnership with Christ Church Streatham, another one-form entry local school, providing leadership and support. This partnership has developed into a ‘soft federation’, enabling both schools to flourish and share best practice to ensure the highest quality of teaching and learning and positive outcomes for the children in our community. Staff from both schools work together, share ideas, support each other and provide wider learning opportunities for the children.

St.Luke’s and Christ Church work in partnership with The Windmill Cluster, a group of local schools, providing learning opportunities and professional development collectively. Networks of teachers work on school improvement issues, raising attainment and achievement .They are jointly working on assessment in the Early Years Foundation Stage and monitoring throughout the school. Projects include providing extended services, workshops for parents, extra –curricular activities, maths masterclasses.

The school works closely with many outside agencies providing support for our pupils and their families. These may include health organisations, educational psychologists and social services. We work with local schools, colleges and universities providing training and career development opportunities.
