Church Community

St. Luke’s Church of England Primary School has a distinctive Christian ethos which is at the heart of this School and provides an inclusive, caring and supportive environment where children learn and flourish in a setting shaped by Christian our Christian ethos of our school and its importance to our community. 

We are so blessed to have so much involvement from the clergy at our school.  Father Donald, vicar at St. Luke’s, Father David, vicar at All Saints, Father Jonathan and Sam Whittington from Christ Church Gipsy Hill all visit the school regularly to deliver Collective Worship.   We also work closely with Father Steven, vicar at Christ Church Streatham.

Heather Peters regularly delivers Collective Worship. Spinnaker provides Christian assemblies in primary schools that engage and involve the children. Bible stories and topical themes are presented in a way that aims to be sensitive to all, including those of other faiths and no faith represented in the school.
